Rhinoscopy

Rhinoscopy is the ability to pass a small camera into and through the nasal passage. This allows us to search for objects that may be stuck/lodged in the nasal passage, see any abnormal tissues, obtain deep nasal cultures, and obtain biopsy samples to help make a diagnosis. When coupled with our Vimago CT scanner, we can get a much better understanding of the inside of the nose when complications are present as the nasal passage is typically very difficult to work with as it has such a small opening and is such a long, skinny, and complicated area.
