If your pet is a senior – over seven for dogs, over nine for cats, we strongly suggest twice-yearly exams and blood screenings. That’s because pets age more rapidly than humans, meaning disease and illness develop faster as well.

*For internal health evaluation, we recommend a full wellness blood panel that includes a fecal test as well as a urine test to ensure the kidneys, liver, thyroid, and all essential organs are functioning efficiently.
At the time of your pet’s wellness exam, you will have a chance to discuss with your doctor any changes you’ve noticed in your pet in the last year, and follow up on any long-term medications your pet is on.
