Exotic Pets

Dr. Ellie Petree is excited to expand the services offered at Stanley Veterinary Clinic by providing care for all of your pets – whether they’re scaly, feathered, or furry! She will work with you to advise on the proper care, feeding, and maintenance of your pet, as well as treat illnesses and conditions specific to their species.

Many of these pets require a very particular environment to thrive, and it’s important you have a veterinarian experienced in their care to help.

Exotic Pet Wellness Exams

Just like cats and dogs, exotic pets require regular veterinary care. During their wellness visits, their veterinarian can address everything from nail care to nutrition, ensuring they stay happy and healthy year-round.

Regardless of species, we recommend annual wellness exams for every patient. Exotic pet care exams include a complete health check and conversation regarding husbandry, nutrition, handling, habitat, and other factors that determine their quality of life. If you notice any sign of

disease or illness in your pet, please bring it to our attention immediately. What appears to be a minor infection, or a small cold, can escalate very quickly.
