Dr. Joi Pearson lives in Overland Park with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, and a hedgehog. She graduated from Tuskegee University in 1996 and has been in the veterinary field for over 22 years. She has taught anatomy and physiology for the Maple Woods Veterinary Technician program for 2 years. She has a strong interest in geriatric medicine and believes in her mother's motto (human geriatric specialist), "You are never too old to feel good."
