Dr. Allison Jewell

Dr. Allison Jewell was born and raised in Mechanicsville, Iowa. From an early age, she knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. Her passion for veterinary medicine inspired her to pursue an education at Iowa State University, where she earned undergraduate degrees with a double major in Animal Ecology and Biology. She then continued her education at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she was active in Small Animal Surgery Club, Integrative Medicine Club, and additionally worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal ER. She graduated from ISU with her DVM in 2024. Dr. Jewell is a current member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Her professional interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology, and dermatology, and she appreciates the opportunity to diagnose and manage a wide variety of medical conditions.

She currently lives in the Kansas City area with her partner, Zack, who is also a veterinarian. They spend much time looking after their 6 lovely pets (3 dogs and 3 cats). Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find her attending Renaissance fairs, reading thriller and fantasy novels, thrifting, gardening, playing volleyball, or spending quality time relaxing with family.
